Norgren has announced Hydra-D – a line of Regenerative Desiccant Dryers. Norgren features thirteen Hydra-D dryer units ranging from 3 to 180 SCFM. This this product can be perfectly sized for point of use applications. The Hydra-D removes water vapor in air supplied to pneumatic test stations, paint spraying operations, laser equipment, and other applications requiring clean dry air.
Hydra-D dryers are designed with end users in mind. Using modern materials and incorporating new patented features, the dryers deliver high quality compressed air with increased reliability, lower running costs, and simplified maintenance procedures.
Hydra-D dryers use the pressure swing adsorption principle to efficiently dry compressed air to a -40°F pressure dew point. The Hydra-D dryers use a heatless twin tower configuration housed in a modular design. Each column contains a unique desiccant cartridge which incorporates inlet and outlet filtration.
