Auburn Gear recently announced two brand new Power Wheel Models: Model 250 & Model 350. These models are shaft and spindle output drives. Shaft drives are designed to meet the power requirements for conveyors, augers, mixers and swing drives. Spindle drives are perfect for vehicles with small diameter drive wheels requiring flange mounts. Such applications include small lift trucks and mowers. Spindle drives can also be applied in applications where bolt on attachment may be more conducive than a splined interface.

Depending on the duty cycle and the nature of the application, a normal continuous output torque of 1/3 to 1/2 of the maximum intermittent should yield satisfactory Power Wheel® life. Customer testing and application analysis is strongly recommended. Bolt-on parking brakes are available.
